Maura Rivera previously worked for Salesforce where she played a pivotal role as the company pioneered virtual events, producing “Salesforce Live” broadcasts and bringing Dreamforce streaming content into homes around the world. At Campaign Monitor, Rivera honed the craft of the case study and brought customer stories to life with high-quality engaging customer films.
Rivera joined Qualified in 2019 as the first marketer and laid the foundation for all pipeline-driving activities, such as building Qualified’s ad platform, driving the creation of the website, increasing social media presence, creating the blog and spearheading the creation of Qualified’s E-books to provide free content about conversational marketing.
As Qualified’s CMO, Rivera created the “Demand Gen Visionaries” podcast designed for CMOs and demand gen leaders to share key strategies and campaign tactics, and brought to life “Taste of Qualified,” a wine tasting event designed to bring marketing leaders together for networking.
With Rivera running marketing, the company grew 800% this past year, just raised $51 million in their Series B funding round led by Salesforce Ventures and has signed industry leaders like Adobe, SurveyMonkey and VMware. Rivera was also the first employee to take parental leave at Qualified, inspiring her to design an inclusive parental leave policy that’s competitive and flexible, making Qualified a place where parents — and most notably moms — want to work.
