Influencer Campaign

Go-to-market (GTM) platform Demandbase launched its inaugural 100 powerful Women In Sales (WIS) List in 2022, which garnered a lot of support and attention. For the 2023 campaign, the company decided to replicate the results while creating and deepening relationships with influential women in sales to show the industry how many strong female sales leaders are breaking through barriers and achieving phenomenal results.

The company teamed up with WIS for the effort, opening nominations and asking for personal recommendations. From there, it researched LinkedIn accounts, social media profiles, content created and career histories to recognize sales stars at every stage of their career. Once the Top 100 list was formed, Demandbase worked to create the other components of the campaign, which included drafting multiple blog posts with content examples from the chosen women, along with sections that told readers why they would get value from following each one. The team also produced social cards for sharing, a social media plan and an E-book to celebrate the campaign and set aside an entire month dedicated to WIS.

The “100 Powerful Women In Sales For 2023” post on the Demandbase website was the second most viewed page in August 2023 and the 25th most-viewed page in all of 2023. It reached 621K people and yielded 10,000 engagements with the LinkedIn community. Additionally, the launch video garnered more than 44,000 views and more than 244,000 impressions, while a LinkedIn carousel generated a 58% engagement rate.
