The Syllabus:

Wistia is a video marketing platform that specializes in empowering B2B marketers. Created as an homage to Saturday morning cartoons, “Gear Squad vs. Dr. Boring” mixed a “good versus evil” plot line with content for marketers to inspire them to defeat their own boring campaigns. When the humans leave at the end of the workday, the animated Gear Squad springs to life to experiment with creative video campaigns.

Lesson Plan:

Through five episodes, viewers are taken through scenarios where the characters (like a confident camera and an evil watercooler) come to life and battle over the fate of marketing campaigns. The idea for the production originated from Wistia’s love for creative storytelling and was shaped by the reality of Wistia’s production plans shifting during the Covid-19 pandemic.
