Citizen Watch Company of America planned to launch a line of smart watches, C-Smart, but needed to find an effective way to sell to retail buyers in a virtual environment.
The company launched a full virtual sell-in campaign, which allowed buyers to learn about the watch via personalized PowerPoints, view its customizable options with product photography capabilities and “try on” items using photo-real 3D animations. Buyers were also able to connect with retailers in real time or interact with them through interactive presentations to learn more about the product, pricing and more.
Sales reps can leverage interactive technology to educate, engage and convert customers in a virtual environment, like the VR game Half-Life Alyx where the player can pick up and observe objects to learn more about them.
